With a dedicated 4×4, a lifelong Tromsø guide, and room for just you and up to six companions, every decision about the schedule, rhythm, and music (if it is good) stays in your hands. We track the latest space-weather data, slip into remote valleys where city glow can’t reach, and give you the best odds of witnessing a sky on fire.

What Your Evening Looks Like
19:00 – Pick-up at your Hotel or Our Office, Tromsø
I’ll greet you beside a beige Mercedes-Benz 4×4 (look for the colourful wool hat). We’ll review the latest space-weather data, weather forecast and customise a playlist for the road.
Drive & Sky-Scout
Enjoy the drive through fjords, valleys and over mountains while I track cloud gaps and solar activity. We may cross the Finnish border or hug the coast, wherever the odds are best tonight.
Remote Campfire & Aurora Shoot
A 5-10minute trek leads us to silence under the stars, away from the road. I’ll demonstrate Arctic fire-craft, then capture long-exposure shots of you with the dancing lights. Warm bowls of cod stew(bacalao) and fresh-toasted bread keep the cold at bay.
Chase-On-The-Move (if needed)
If the weather or aurora activity is better elsewhere, we douse the fire, jump back in the 4×4, and pursue the glow until we’ve filled your memory cards.
~23:30–00:30 – Return to Tromsø
Back in town, I’ll collect your email for the photo gallery and share tips for processing your own images, then drop you at your accommodation or the original pick-up point.
If we struggle to find Northern Lights and you are still encouraged, we will stay out until 02.00.
