Cancellation & Refund Policy – Rise Adventures

We understand that travel plans can change. This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds work for guided tours with Rise Adventures.

Cancellations

  • Guest cancellations:

    • Full refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before the tour date.

    • 50% refund for cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours before the tour.

    • No refund for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour or for no-shows.

  • Operator cancellations (weather/safety):

    • If we cancel a tour due to unsafe weather or other unforeseen circumstances, guests will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule (subject to availability).

Rescheduling

  • Guests may request to reschedule their tour up to 48 hours before departure, free of charge.

  • Rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the tour cannot be accommodated.

Itinerary Adjustments

Northern Norway’s nature can be unpredictable. For your safety and the best possible experience, the guide of the day reserves the right to adjust the itinerary based on weather, daylight, or seasonal conditions.

  • Such changes do not qualify for refunds as long as the tour is delivered in line with the overall experience booked.

Responsibility & Liability

  • Guests are responsible for carrying suitable personal travel insurance that covers outdoor activities.

  • Rise Adventures is not liable for loss of personal belongings, delays caused by external conditions (e.g., road closures, transport strikes), or personal injuries caused by failure to follow the guide’s safety instructions.

  • Participation in outdoor activities is at the guest’s own risk, and guests are expected to respect the guide’s decisions regarding safety and conduct during the tour.

Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be made to your original payment method within 10 business days.

  • Please note that banks or credit card providers may take additional time to process the refund.
