Choose our Northern Lights chase for a small, intimate group experience. Unlike large bus tours that stop in crowded parking lots, we take you deep into the real wilderness for the best chances of seeing the lights. Travelling in a small vehicle makes us more agile, allowing us to quickly adapt to weather conditions and maximize your viewing opportunities. Along the way, you’ll be guided by a real local who shares fascinating stories, Arctic facts, and survival techniques giving you an authentic and enriching experience under the northern sky! I am thrilled to be your guide on this small-group Northern Lights trip. I will pick you up in an 8-seater 4×4. Please try to meet 10 minutes before the start of the trip; I'll be there waiting and using this time for us to get to know each other. At 18:00, we’ll jump in the car and start our drive to the best spots for the Northern Lights, with some great music playing! We’ll stop along the way to observe how the clouds move and decide on the best direction to drive. Once we reach the ideal spot, we’ll take a short hike to escape the cars and road, so it’s just us, the campfire, and the lights. I’ll demonstrate how to make a survival fire and set up a cosy campfire in the Arctic. After we have enjoyed the Northern Lights, we’ll savour a local fish stew, hot “Solbærsaft” or coffee, and snacks, all while my camera captures photos of the lights. If the sky is clear and the Northern Lights show is amazing, we’ll stay by the camp. If the weather is uncertain or the Northern Lights appear somewhere else, we will chase them until we find the perfect display! Of course, you’ll also get photos of yourself and the group taken. When we're ready to head home, we’ll pack up the camp and return to the warm car. This is usually between 23:00 and 01:00, depending on the Northern Lights activity and weather. In the car, I’ll collect your email addresses to send you the edited photos within 72 hours after the tour. You’ll be dropped off at the pick-up point, and we’ll say goodnight!
